Moses Magana


Food engineer Moses Magana brings of wealth of experience in thermal processing and engineering to 915 Labs. As Director of Process Innovation, Moses leads the design, build and installation of MATS and MAPS equipment.

Throughout his career in the U.S. and abroad, Moses has specialized in thermal processing technologies and technology innovation, from concept to commercialization and continuous improvement. Most recently, he worked as a Senior Process Engineer in Global Product Support and Implementation for Hill’s Pet Nutrition.

In El Salvador, Moses worked as an R&D Technical Manager for the Global Food Services Corporation and Custom Food Processing Services, introducing new technologies, leading the development of new product lines and designing and commissioning an experimental food lab. He also served as a technical consultant in food product development to El Salvador’s Export and Investment Promotion Agency, advising companies on the export of shelf-stable products to the U.S. and establishing the first national think tank for the food sector.

Moses began his career as a production supervisor managing the organic soup canning line at Amy’s Kitchen in California. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering, food technology and processing at the Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado.
